Let’s be real, parenthood is not easy. Every parent faces unique challenges and joys in their own journey. From sleepless nights to adulthood, the demands of a parent are constantly evolving and changing.

In this Tea Talks feature with Our Grandfather Story (OGS), Rae Mok, Founder of Project GIVE and an inductee of Singapore Kindness Movement’s Kindred Spirit Circle, shared her story as a parent of a daughter with special needs. Rae, as well as mothers Zarina and Doris shared their raw and real stories of growth, struggle and love.

Rae’s dedication to supporting families and raising awareness for children with special needs led her to establish Project GIVE. Project GIVE is run by volunteers who organise parties, celebrations and home visits for families with chronically ill children. These activities provide them with joy, connection and a break from their daily challenges.
